When you get to the top, you can expect the best. At least this is the case with the NAB Qantas Platinum Card. You’ll enjoy a superior points earn rate and excellent bonus features.

Pros

Interest rates and interest free days are pretty standard but the card boasts plenty of features that’ll grab anyone’s attention. Each NAB Qantas Platinum Card Account comes with two cards: an NAB Qantas Platinum American Express Card which’ll get you maximum points earning and an NAB Qantas Platinum Visa Card for added worldwide acceptance. With the AMEX you’ll earn up to 1.5 uncapped points per $1 spent, online fraud protection, special savings, upgrades and offers and more. With the Visa you’ll enjoy being able to make contactless purchases with Visa payWave, emergency travel assistance, secure online shopping with ‘Verified by Visa’ and special offers on shows, events, experiences and movies.

Simply by being a platinum level card, you get 12 months complimentary VIP Lost Card Cover, 24/7 personal concierge service and an additional cardholder at no extra cost. Then there’s the other insurances that give you all the peace of mind you want: Interstate Flight Inconvenience Insurance, Transport Accident Insurance, Domestic Hotel Burglary Insurance, Purchase Protection Insurance, Extended Warranty Insurance and Price Protection Insurance. The list goes on so it’s a feature packed card we’re talking about.

Cons

The major downer is the hefty annual fee and of course there’s a pretty high minimum income to make sure you can afford it. As with any card, you always want to make sure that you’re going to get more out of it than the annual fee is worth.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, this is a fantastic card, up with the best Platinum Cards have to offer. Definitely worth your consideration if you’ve got the income and spending lifestyle to benefit from it.
