Q&As about Lombard Credit Cards from customers

What is Lombard?

Lombard is a division of FlexiGroup Limited, a diversified ASX-listed financial services group which issues credit cards under the Lombard, Skye, Q Card and Once brands, as well as offering payment plans and consumer and commercial leasing.

What kind of credit cards does Lombard offer?

Lombard credit cards are designed to provide longer interest-free periods than standard credit cards, for major individual purchases, including items like appliances, technology, furniture, home renovations and holidays. There are two cards on offer:

  • Lombard 55 card: Up to 55 days interest free on all purchases, plus up to four years interest free on purchases from a long list of participating Lombard retailers
  • Lombard 180 card: Up to 55 days interest free on all purchases, up to six months interest free on individual purchases of $250 or more, plus up to four years interest free on purchases from a long list of participating Lombard retailers

What if I can’t repay the total balance during the interest-free period?

You’ll end up paying interest at a rate that is much higher than even the highest rate on a standard credit card, around 1-5 percentage points higher.

Can I take a cash advance from a Lombard credit card?

Yes, but you’ll pay a very high interest rate from the date you take the advance until the date it is fully repaid. The interest rate is around 1-5 percentage points higher than the highest rate on a standard credit card.

Do Lombard credit cards offer rewards points or complimentary benefits?

Neither rewards points nor complimentary benefits are offered. The focus is on long interest-free periods.

Does Lombard have any branches for over-the-counter transactions?
