Rewards and benefits
- Complimentary travel insurance. The BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card comes with complimentary international travel insurance. Coverage is activated when the card is used to purchase eligible travel costs related to your trip prior to departure. Eligibility criteria apply.
- Concierge services. The BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card does not include access to a concierge service.
- Insurances. Cardholders get fraud protection and international travel insurance.
- Rewards points. With the BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card, cardholders can earn uncapped Qantas Points at 1 Qantas Point per $2 spent on eligible purchases and 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on Qantas flights. Balance transfers and cash advances are not eligible transactions for earning points.
- Sign-up bonus. There is no sign-up bonus for Qantas Points.
Rates and fees
- Annual fee. There is no annual fee for this card.
- Balance transfers. The BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card offers a 6-month balance transfer with no transfer fee and an 8.99% p.a. introductory rate reverting to 18.95% p.a. after the promotional period ends, with a maximum balance transfer of 95%.
- Cash advances. If you get a cash advance using your BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card, interest will be charged at 16.95% p.a. and will begin to accrue immediately. BankVic will charge a one-off fee on any cash advances made with this card.
- Foreign exchange fee. All purchases made in a foreign currency, either online or overseas, will incur a 2% foreign transaction fee.
- Interest-free period. This card allows up to 55 days interest-free on purchases, excluding cash advances, when you have made the minimum required payments or paid off your balance in full by the due date.
- Purchases. The introductory purchase rate on the BankVic Qantas Visa Credit Card is 8.99% for the first 6 months, reverting to the ongoing purchase interest rate of 18.95% p.a.
