BankVic offers two credit cards with various features which are designed to meet different financial needs and preferences:
- Balance transfer offers: BankVic credit card offers competitive balance transfer offers with each card, enabling customers to consolidate their existing credit card balances onto a BankVic card. A balance transfer can help cardholders save on interest and pay off their debts at a lower rate.
- Low rate credit cards: The BankVic Low Rate Visa features a competitive variable interest rate for purchases and cash advances, a $0 annual fee, and up to 44 interest-free days on purchases when you pay your balance in full by the due date. It’s ideal for those seeking affordability and simplicity.
- Frequent flyer credit cards: The BankVic Qantas Visa, exclusive to members of the Police Association of Victoria (TPAV) or the Victorian Ambulance Union, earns Qantas Points on everyday spending, complimentary overseas travel insurance, redeemable for flights, upgrades, or merchandise through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. It offers up to 55 interest-free days when you pay your full balance on time for both the current and previous statements.

Eligibility criteria of BankVic credit cards
To apply for a BankVic credit card, you must first become a BankVic member by meeting one of these criteria:
- Be a member of Victoria’s police force, health, emergency, or public service sectors, or have a family member in these industries.
- Work within 5km of BankVic’s offices.
- Be referred by an existing member who has been with BankVic for over a year.
- Be approved by BankVic’s CEO or an Executive Manager of Police Financial Services Limited.
- Be a corporate body (contact BankVic for details).
It's worth remembering, you’ll need to meet standard credit card eligibility requirements, including being at least 18 years old, having a good credit history, and providing proof of income.

How to apply for a BankVic credit card
- Become a member: Ensure you meet one of the membership criteria above and join BankVic, which includes purchasing 10 shares at $1 each (redeemable when closing your account).
- Gather information: Two forms of ID, such as a passport, Australian birth certificate, driver’s licence, or Medicare card.
- Employment details: Current employer’s contact info, after-tax income, and, if employed less than five years, previous employer details.
- Apply online: Click ‘Go to Site’ on the BankVic website and complete the Webloans application, which takes 10–15 minutes.
- Verification and approval: BankVic may verify your ID online or contact you if further details are needed. Expect an email update within 24 hours or the next business day.
- Receive your card: If approved, your card will arrive within 5–7 business days, ready for activation.
